本学の研究成果発信力強化及び若手研究者支援を目的とする論文のオープンアクセス推進のためのAPC支援事業について、2025年度も引き続き実施します。

支援プログラムは下記の2種類です。いずれかに該当する場合には、投稿論文をオープンアクセスで出版するための費用：APC（Article Processing Charge）を支援します。

なお、当初2024年9月～2025年3月限りとしていた40歳以上の方への拡大支援も継続します。


1.Elsevier/Springer/Wiley/ACS支援プログラム（転換契約活用）
　　　転換契約対象誌の場合、若手研究者はAPC100%支援、
　　　40歳以上の者はElsevier社のジャーナル評価指標CiteScoreパーセンタイルが規準以上のものは100%、基準未満の場合は50%を支援

2.ハイインパクトジャーナル投稿支援プログラム
　　　1.以外の、CiteScoreパーセンタイル上位のジャーナルに投稿した場合、若手研究者は100%支援、
　　　40歳以上の者は対象誌をさらに限定したうえで100%支援

※どちらも責任著者が対象となります。

Tohoku University provide financial support for Open Access publishing fees for international journals to enhance our capacity to disseminate research findings and support early-career researchers.

There are two types of support programs available. If any of the above conditions are met, Tohoku University will cover the Article Processing Charge (APC) for publishing submitted papers in Open Access format.

We will continue to expand support for non-early-career researchers (previously limited to the latter half of last fiscal year.)


1. Elsevier/Springer/Wiley/ACS Support Program
　　　For journals covered by a transformative agreement, early-career researchers will receive 100% APC support.
　　　For individuals aged 40 and older, if the Elsevier CiteScore percentile meets or exceeds the set standard, 100% support will be provided;
　　　if it falls below the standard, 50% support will be provided.

2. High Impact Journal Submission Support Program
　　　For submissions to high-percentile journals (based on CiteScore) outside of Program 1, early-career researchers will receive 100% support.
　　　For individuals aged 40 and older, 100% support will be provided for a more limited selection of eligible journals.
