附属図書館本館では、学部生を対象に書庫の利用ガイダンスを行っています。
規則上、書庫へ入庫できるのは大学院生と教職員のみですが、
ガイダンスを受講すれば学部生の方でも利用できるようになります。
大学院から東北大学に進学された方のご参加もお待ちしています。

The main library provides a "Stack Room Guidance" on how to use the stacks for undergraduate students.
According to the Main Library’s regulations, only graduate students and faculty members are allowed to enter the stack room. Undergraduate students can also access it after attending this guidance.
We also welcome those who have enrolled in Tohoku University as graduate students to participate.


【ガイダンス詳細】
・参加対象:本学の学部生・研究生等（大学院生も参加可）
・各回定員:10名（先着順）
・所要時間:約45分（利用案内と書庫内の見学）
・申込方法:フォームで申込、またはメインカウンターで直接申込み（メール・電話は不可）
　※フォームは東北大学のアカウントでログインしてください。

【申し込み後の手続き】
・申し込み確認メールに、「入庫利用申請書」が添付されています。この申請書には指導教員やクラス担任など、常勤教員のサインが必要です。
・ガイダンス受講時、または受講後に申請書を提出してください。

【教員のサインが難しい場合の手続き】
・直接サインをもらうのが難しい場合は、メールでの承認も可能です。以下の手順に従ってください。
　1.入庫を希望する学生は、記入した申請書をPDFや画像ファイルとして教員に送信します。
　2.教員は書類を確認し、申請書内容を承知した旨を学生に返信します。
　3.学生は、図書館カウンターで申請書と返信メールを提示します。

【Details】
・Target Participants: Undergraduate students of Tohoku University (including research students, etc.)
・Capacity for each session: 10 people (first come first served)
・Duration: About 45 minutes (information on how to use the stacks and tour of the archives)
・How to apply: With the form or directly at the main counter (emails and phone calls are not accepted)
　*Please log in to the form via your Tohoku University account.

【Procedures After Applying for the Guidance】
・In the application confirmation email, there is a "Stack Room Usage Application Form" included as an attachment. This form requires a signature by a faculty member.
・Please submit this form either during or after attending the guidance session.

【Procedures in Case of Difficulty in Obtaining a Faculty Member's Signature】
・If it is difficult to obtain a signature directly, approval via email is also possible. Please follow the steps below:
1. The student wishing to access the stack room needs to send the completed application form to the faculty member as a PDF or image file and ask for their approval via email.
2. The faculty member should review the document and reply to the student, confirming their approval of the application form.
3. The student should then present the application form and the approval email at the library counter.
