If you don’t have any card or are unable to open the door, please call a library staff by using the intercom.

How to apply for a Library card
  • You can apply for a Library card by using Google Form "Engineering Library User Card Application Form". Or you can fill out the form at the Engineering Library counter.
  • Please bring something to confirm your identity, affiliation, and status.
Bring your own computer
  • You are permitted to bring and use your personal computer in the library.
Wireless Internet LAN
Notes on Use
  • Please take care of your valuables carefully.
  • Please refrain from talking on cell phones, as it may disturb other users.
Eating and Drinking
  • Eating and drinking are allowed in the entrance hall.
  • Only beverages in sealed containers, such as plastic bottles, may be brought into the reading area. Please do not bring in food.
If you feel the tremors of an earthquake

If you feel a tremor,
move away from the bookshelf immediately
and take shelter under a desk.

If it is necessary to evacuate the building, please follow the instructions of the staff.

In the event of nighttime or holidays, please evacuate at your own discretion or follow the instructions of the patrolling security guards.
