Restrictions on services

■"Group Study Rooms"(2 room) in Second floor have been closed since March 9 (Mon). Resumption date is undecided.

■We will stop providing group study areas in Abelujo, from 3/13 (Fri). Resumption date is undecided. Language Studio is available.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

• When you using library,
  • Please check the "COVID-19 Information and Preventive Measures" (updated from time to time) on university website, and take measures such as cough etiquette and hand washing to prevent infection.
  • In the library reading room, please leave a seat with other users as much as possible.

Engineering Library will be closed at 5 p.m. on weekdays during End of Term Holiday.

Members of departments/centers on the Aobayama East Campus can enter the library building by using their ID card when closed.

• Weekdays -- (Student) 7 a.m. - 12 a.m. / (Faculty) 24 hours
• Sat, Sun, Holidays -- (Student) 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. / (Faculty) 24 hours

Lending service is available by the self-checkout machine.

• 8/23(Fri): 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.: OPEN / 5 p.m. - 12 a.m.: Completely closed
• 8/24(Sat),　8/25(Sun): Completely closed
• 8/26(Mon): 0 - 9 a.m.: Completely closed / 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.: OPEN

Early closing because of students' summer holiday

Celebrating 100 Years exihibition "百周年だヨ！全員集合" will be held. [May.15 - June.14]

May 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of Tohoku University’s School of Engineering.

To celebrate, the exhibition titled "百周年だヨ！全員集合(Hyaku shunenn dayo! zeiinn syuugou.)" will be held. We're looking forward to seeing you there.

• Period：May 15th - June 14th
• Place：Engineering Library 1st floor (In front of "Abelujo")
• Display materials：
  1. 100 books with "100" in the title.
  2. Books and journals published 100 years ago.
  3. Books that predicted future technology.
