【Important】All ILL fees will borne by the university From of April 1.
From of April 1, all ILL (Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery) fees, whether for private or official expenses, will be borne by the university.
◆Persons: All University members (Students/Faculties/Staff)
◆Period : For applications made on or after April 1, 2025
※Application submitted before April 1 are excluded.
【Important】ILL (Interlibrary Loan) requests will be suspended from March 5 to March 31
From April 1, ILL (Interlibrary Loan) fees for school/private expenses will be paid by the university.
In order to prepare for this, ILL requests will be suspended during the following period.

Change of services during the spring holidays
- The library's services will be changed as follows during the spring holidays.
- *Please check the calendar.
Open hours:
- 9:00 - 17:00
- 4 Feb. (Tue.) - 7 Apr. (Mon.)
- *The members of the Graduate School of Agricultural Science and the Faculty of Agriculture and those applying for "After-hours use" can use the library until 24:00 every day.
Due date:
- If you borrow books between 21 Jan. (Tue.) and 28 Mar. (Fri.), the due date is 11 Apr. (Fri.).
- *The loan period of serials, the shared stack room's books and other libraries' books is two weeks.
- *For graduates and retirees, the last day of enrollment is the due of return.
- *For those who plan to go on to higher education, take a leave of absence, or stay on, please come to the service desk for an extension of the period of use.
Closing schedule during the winter holidays
- Agricultural Library will be closed during the winter holidays as follows.

- Close: December 26, 2024 (Thu.) 17:00
- Open : January 6, 2025 (Mon.) 9:00
- *The library is not available for anyone during the winter holidays.

Temporary suspension of eduroam connection due to maintenance work of network equipment (December 8)
Due to the maintenance work of the network equipment in the Graduate School of Agricultural Science,
eduroam service may be temporarily unavailable as follows.
Please note that the time is tentative and the end time may vary.

- Please tell us books you recommend for students.
- We are also looking for genre recommendations.
- We would appreciate your cooperation.

Choosing
- Please choose books or category of books you recommend for students.
- -The books should not necessarily be related to the curriculum.
- -Recommended books will be purchased within the acceptance criteria.
- *But some of those might not be purchased considering the library's budget.
- -You can choose any of the follwing: specialized books, liberal arts books and reference books.
- *Journals and yearbooks should be excluded from the recommendation list.
- -If there are any books you are going to list in the next syllabus, please add them to the recommendation list.
- *The books listed in the current syllabus have already been purchased except they are out of print.
- -Agricultural Library will featured a display of recommended books anonymously later.
Submitting
- Please fill in the Google Forms and send it.
- *You are available throughout the year for both of faculty members and students.
- Please use them when you find any books to recommend after the due date.
Book Select Event 2024 is being held! (until the end of October)
Starting today, we will be holding the "Book Select Event 2024" at the Agricultural Library,
where you can use stickers to vote for books you want added to the collection.
There are list of books related to the field of agriculture
on the 1st floor of the Agricultural Library.

Use of the library when the service desk is closed
- Members of Graduate School of Agricultural Science and Faculty of Agriculture and those applying for "after-hours use" can use the library when the service desk is closed (7:00-24:00).
- However, please note that the library is not availble for anyone during the following dates and times due to planned poweroutages.
- Friday 23 August, 17:00 - Monday 26 August, 9:00
Due date
- If you borrow books between Thursday 25 July and Tuesday 24 September, the due date is Tuesday 8 October.
- *The loan period of serials, the shared stack room's books and other libraries' books is two weeks.
- *If you are leaving the university before Tuesday 8 October, please return books before then.
