Library closed at 5 p.m. during end of term holiday. [Feb. 15-Apr. 4]

　Engineering Library is closed at 5 p.m. on weekdays during End of Term Holiday.

　-- From February 15 to April 4
　-- OPEN: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (weekday)

Members of departments/centers on the Aobayama East Campus can enter the library building by using their ID card when closed.

　　　　・Weekdays -- (Student) 7 a.m. - 12 a.m. / (Faculty) 24 hours
　　　　・Sat, Sun, Holidays -- (Student) 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. / (Faculty) 24 hours

Lending service is available by the self-checkout machine.

Temporary suspension of the network service [Feb.22]

　Due to the construction of the network, the following services would be suspended:

Web services (Online catalog searching from Lab., MyLibrary etc.)

Temporary suspension of the network service etc. [Feb.2,4]

　Due to the construction of the network, the following services would be suspended:

Feb. 2(Tue) 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.	・To access the website from computers in PC corner and Language Studio（※）・Computers for online catalog searching ・Wireless LAN ・Circulation services using the network （※Borrowing service would not be suspended.）・Self-checkout machine
Feb. 4(Thu) 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.	・Computers ・Computers for online catalog searching Note: The construction will be carried out on a few of the computers each. You can use the computers which are not under construction.

　※Databeses and Electronic Journals will also not be accessible.
　　Word, Excel, PowerPoint and printing from PC are available as usual.

Dec. 28-31 : Shutout for Year-end holiday.
Jan. 1 - the morning of Jan. 4 : Shutout for New Year holiday.
　Please note that no one can enter even if by using ID Card.

This service is limited:
- - to the Students and Faculties of the Tohoku Univ.
- - the books located in the Engineering Library only
- - when checking out / extending due date
  at the circulation desk (or machine) of the Engineering Library
  (include extending due date using MyLibrary)

Exclusion :
- - Journal, Magazine
- - the books sent from our branch library/other Univ. library

　Though these services are available at the counter during this period,
it might take longer than usual to be processed.
So please apply as soon as possible still our web services are available.

New group study area is available from Aug.20

　New group study area is available from Aug. 20!
　We set new desks, chairs, whiteboards in this floor.

　This area is intended for groups of 2 or more. Library patrons who want to study alone are encouraged to use other quiet area.
When the library is quite empty(e.g. early morning, closed hours), the area can be used by an individual.

　Until the end of Sep., the service hour is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. of weekday(to 5 p.m. during the students' summer holiday).
