[Main Lib.] Regarding the rule changes from April 1st

Due to the university's BCP level shifting to "zero" from April 1st,
the Main Library will change the rules as follows.


【Wearing a mask】

Wearing a mask is an individual decision for both users and the library staff.

However, we recommend that you wear a mask during group study activities, because it is impossible to keep a safe distance.

【 Group Study 】

Group study activities will be resumed in the flexible work area.

Box seats require reservations for group study activities.

The group study room should be used as an individual room for those who need to speak online.

For events. It is required a reservation by a professor and the attendance of the professor on the day of the event as well.

【Speaking and Conversation】

Face-to-face conversations are possible in flexible work areas and box seats.

The following are places below are where you are allowed to speak alone online.
　・Main Floor
　・Global Learning Room
　・East balcony on the 2nd floor

※Please make sure that your conversation volume will not disturb the others around you.

・As a general rule, speaking and conversation are prohibited in all other areas.
・The Global Reference Room is a silence area. Please beware of keyboard and calculator touch sounds, page turning noises, etc.
・The lounge is a space for eating and drinking. Seats are limited, so please refrain from using it for a long time during busy hours.
