[Main lib.] International Student Concierge Week Fall 2016

The concierge members from various countries are planning fun events for both Japanese and international students from October 11 (Tue) to 14 (Fri). Let's enjoy intercultural experiences at the library!


- The 5th Global Session
"World's Flour Recipes - Easy + Low cost = Happy!-"

Flour is one of the most popular ingredient used in many countries. It's also cheap and easy to cook!
This Global Session is about the world's meals made from flour. International Student Concierge members will make presentations about their national meals and related books in the library.
The Session provides a lot of useful information for international students who just started a new life in Japan.

- Library Guidance for International Students in multiple languages

We will give guidance on how to use the library and search materials for newcomer international students in this October. Other University members who want to learn about the library are also welcome. The guidance will be provided in English and Chinese by international students who are working for the library.
Guidance in Korean, Thai and Indonesian are also available by request. Please contact us. (desk(at)grp.tohoku.ac.jp)

Please visit out book exhibition at the entrance of Global Learning Room. Books can be borrowed for 1 week.
